New York Rangers defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk sidelined indefinitely

The New York Rangers have announced that defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk suffered a torn meniscus and will have surgery to repair it. He will be sidelined indefinitely.

It was announced that Shattenkirk has been dealing with the injury since late September early October and this is something he tried to play through.

A torn meniscus will make your leg might swell and feel stiff. In fact, you’ll feel pain when twisting your knee, or be unable to straighten your leg fully.

This is what Shatty’s been dealing with the entire season.
