Former Ranger calls it a career- NHL.COM

If you missed it, Taylor Pyatt announced his retirement from the game of hockey. Originally drafted eighth overall in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, he played 14 seasons in the NHL, with six different teams: New York Islanders, Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Canucks, Phoenix Coyotes, and Pittsburgh Penguins.

Pyatt spent two seasons with the Rangers, signed as a free agent to a two-year contract before the start of the lockout-shortened 2012-2013 season.
