Four of the 2019 first round Draft picks are chronicled in the show: Jack Hughes (No. 1 overall, New Jersey Devils), Kaapo Kakko (No. 2 overall, New York Rangers), Dylan Cozens (No. 7 overall, Buffalo Sabres) and Cole Caufield (No. 15 overall, Montreal Canadiens). The show, comprised of four ‘acts,’ recounts the players’ early apprehensions, nervous first minutes and eventual elation after being selected in the 2019 NHL Draft. The program then follows them as they meet their new team’s staff, conduct media interviews, and share the excitement with their friends and families.
