Before unpacking what would land them, let’s look at the players. Puljujarvi is Edmonton’s 4th overall pick in 2016. His availability at #4 overall –the Blue Jackets went off the board at #3– is why the Rangers didn’t make that Ryan McDonagh/#4 overall swap at that draft (for Clayton Keller).
