Jesper Fast Won’t Play in Game 2, Starting Goalie To Be Determined

The Rangers dropped the opening game to the Carolina Hurricanes in their best of five play-in series. The gam featured a surprise Henrik Lundqvist start as Igor Shesterkin was listed as “unfit to play” and an early Jesper Fast injury due to a hit from old pal Brady Skjei that led to Jacob Slavin’s opening goal, all before the game was five minutes old. Today, the Rangers took to the ice for practice in Toronto ahead of their game 2 match up tomorrow afternoon and after practice, head coach David Quinn had some updates for us the biggest of which is that Jesper Fast has been ruled out for tomorrow’s game.
