Jack Johnson has successful surgery, out for season

Apparently Jack Johnson had sports hernia surgery and is out for the rest of the season. We knew he was playing hurt, but the extent was unknown. Darren Dreger reported the surgery today.

Jack Johnson had successful sports hernia related surgery yesterday. Expectation is he will make a full recovery by June/July.

The Rangers are healthy on the blue line, so using Jack Johnson wasn’t likely going to happen much going forward.
