New York’s three NHL teams will be well-represented in the 2018 NHL All-Star Game, with the New York Islanders, New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils sending a combined four players to the extravaganza.
Islanders captain John Tavares will make his fifth appearance in the game. He is having a great year, producing 22 goals and 51 points in 43 games. He is on pace to produce 97 points, which would easily be a career high. His offensive production has kept the Islanders competitive (one point out of the second wild-card spot) despite their defensive struggles.
