Georgiev steals a 3-2 win and Artemi Panarin gets the game winner

The New York Rangers came into this match with Columbus knowing that they had to score first and they had to stay out of the penalty box. Of course, they did neither. And of course, Artemi Panarin scored the game winning goal as the Rangers pulled out an important 3-2 road win.

Alexandar Georgiev had a fabulous game in goal especially in the first and third periods when the Rangers were badly outshot and under siege. The power play also came through with a second period goal and the penalty kill was a perfect five for five. No matter what, the team had to leave Nationwide Arena feeling very lucky.
