The Rangers and Flyers have a 12:30 face off today, prime time on NBC. Your lottery Rangers and lottery Flyers are playing prime time. I don’t know why NBC didn’t switch this out. I get that it’s New York and Philly, two big markets, but most of your fair weather fans aren’t watching anymore. It’s just people like us who read blogs regularly.
When it comes to the tank, the Rangers are now in 6th, as the tank pros in Buffalo have managed to get three points since the trade deadline. The Blueshirts can still mathematically get to 2nd overall, which just goes to show you how tight it is at the bottom of the league.
