Just so you know, the Penguins put it in their team notes that the last time they played the Rangers in the playoffs following a Presidents’ Trophy season, the Penguins won the series.

This is the sixth meeting, the Pens winning the first four, the Rangers of course winning last springtime.

This is also the first time in 10 series that the Penguins begin on the road.
