People wonder why Rangers fans are the way they are.

Never mind the whole “one Stanley Cup in 75 years, and none in 21” thing.

No, this is a deeper and more present ache they hold in their hearts, in their stomachs and esophagus. It is a fear, a dread, a headache and acid reflux rolled into one.

And why not?

Just look at the first two games of the Rangers’ playoff series against Washington. More specifically, look at the final minute of those two games.
