Brian Leetch will once again be representing the United States — but for the first time, it will be from the other side of the bench.
Leetch was chosen as one of the coaches for the All American Prospect Game, and he will be joined by fellow Team USA teammate Chris Chelios, who also is a former member of the Chicago Blackhawks. Both have had success in their longstanding hockey careers, both at the international level as well as in the NHL.
“It is only fitting that a game aimed to showcase the future of American hockey be coached by two of the greatest American players to ever play,” said Jim Johansson, assistant executive director of hockey operations for USA Hockey.
