Former New York Rangers captain Chris Drury named USA GM for WC

Chris Drury, 42, will now be overlooking the hockey operations for the USA World Championship team. He takes on the role of general manager, replacing Bill Zito.

New York Rangers assistant GM Chris Drury will be named named GM of Team USA that will compete in the World Championships. Hearing Detroit Red Wings coach Jeff Blashill is top candidate to be head coach again.

He has been in the Rangers front office since the 2016 season. Drury is the assistant general manager of the New York Rangers, alongside Jim Schoenfeld.
