Doomed to one game obscurity

First, a New York Rangers trivia question. What do Daniel Catenacci, Jeremy Williams and Brandon Halverson have in common? Answer: They are the three Rangers who played only one game for the Blueshirts in this decade.

Of the three, Jeremy Williams played all of 3:43 in his only appearance on October 24, 2010. He had six shifts in a 3-1 win over the Devils at the Garden. Williams had been signed as a free agent the previous summer after seeing action in 31 games over four season for Toronto. He was recalled from Hartford when Brandon Prust was cut near the eye.
