Danny O’Regan is a 26 year-old group 6 unrestricted free agent forward at the official conclusion of this hockey season. Having played under David Quinn while at Boston University from 2012-2016, O’Regan seemed like a good addition to the organization. Last July, Chris Drury brought him in after showing some promise in both the San Jose Sharks and Buffalo Sabres organizations. was also a factor for bringing him in.
This past shortened season with the Hartford Wolf Pack, O’Regan was a solid contributor thanks to his good vision and solid passing game. That’s translated in a decent season of 27 assists and 38 points in 62 games.
