Southbound lanes of Route 109 in West Babylon were closed Thursday morning at Elmwood Road after a vehicular accident involving a pedestrian, Suffolk County police said.
The accident was reported at 4:20 a.m. on Route 109 near West Babylon Senior High School, police said.
Little East Neck Road and Great East Neck Road were also closed in the area just south of the accident, police said.
