At a time when a virus of unknown origins and dire consequences is changing every action we take it may seem silly to talk about the New York Rangers, ice hockey or sports in general. However, nothing drove the severity of this crisis home more than the cancellation of all sports.
The suspension of the season raised nothing but questions. Will the season resume? How will the playoffs be restructured? Will there be games with no spectators? What happens to the start of next season? How will the salary cap be affected? Will Chris Kreider be healed and be able to finish the season?
