The Hartford Wolf Pack opened their season yesterday with a strong 5-2 win. Morgan Barron (goal), Will Cuylle (goal, assist), Austin Rueschhoff (goal), Justin Richards (2 assists) and Tarmo Reunanen (goal, assist) all shined in the Hartford win. The Pack rotate between playing Bridgeport and Providence all season.
The Pack are stacked at forward this season, but are relatively thin on defense. That blue line will take a hit when Braden Schneider is sent back to the WHL. He and Cuylle are on AHL only deals until their respective CHL seasons start.
