Wright will miss Sunday's game after undergoing more tests on neck

David Wright will miss Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers after dealing with a neck problem.

Manager Terry Collins said Wright took an oral anti-inflammatory medication to deal with his neck issue, but it needs 48 hours to properly treat him. Collins said Wright, who missed Saturday's 9-1 loss to Los Angeles, may also be unavailable for Monday's game.

"It's been a few days now," Wright told reporters of the neck issue after Saturday's game. "If I'm physically able to go out there and help the team, I try to do that. But if I can't help the team, then I can't go out there and play.
