Wilson Ramos starting to look like the hitter the Mets paid for

The Mets had the whole Star Wars theme working Saturday afternoon at Citi Field. Princess Leia was there in costume and a bobble-head of Obi-Wan Canobi was distributed to fans with the likeness of Robinson Cano. But no one carried a bigger lightsaber on this day than Mets catcher Wilson Ramos.

Sure, backup catcher Tomas Nido secured the Mets’ 5-4 victory with a walk-off home run in the 13th inning. But the Mets would have never gotten there without Ramos, who drove in four runs on three hits, including two home runs.

Between their two catchers the Mets got three homers and five RBIs.
