Wheeler leaves with blister, allows three runs in no-decision

Zack Wheeler limited the Pirates to three runs on seven hits in six innings on Saturday night, but was unable to pitch the seventh due to a blister, according to Marc Carig of Newsday.

Wheeler (3.83 ERA) struck out five batters and walked two, throwing 94 pitches on the night. He was dealt a no-decision after the Mets lost, 5-4, in extra innings.

Wheeler has now completed six innings in three of his four starts in the month of May. He completed six innings only once in April -- a seven-inning effort against the Nationals on April 23.
