Terry Collins believes C Travis d'Arnaud will be one of the organization's biggest projects when they get to Spring Training next February, the manager told ESPN.com's Adam Rubin.

"We've got to get this guy back, and we've got to get his bat going," Collins told Rubin. "If he is what we thought he's going to be, he's a middle-of-the-lineup guy who can do damage from the right side. And you know how bad we need that."

D'Arnaud played in just 75 games during 2016, while hitting just .247 with four home runs and 15 RBI.
