Trevor Bauer has announced he’s signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The move comes after a long day of rumors and tolling.
It all started late Thursday night, when multiple reports suggested Bauer and the Mets were deep into contract conversation. The Dodgers were still hanging around, but most informed speculation believed he was headed to the Mets with a decision looming in the next 24 hours.
The speculation only ramped up when Bauer leaked Mets merchandise on his online merch store. The Mets merch was quickly taken down and replaced by Dodgers merch, which was then replaced by Angels merch.
