Tom Seaver on how Mets are mishandling their ‘stud muffins’

COOPERSTOWN — Tom feels terrific.

And he’s still on top of his game — both baseball and wine.

“It still is a dream,’’ Seaver said Friday of being in the Baseball Hall of Fame as he sat in one of the white rocking chairs on the porch of the Otesaga Resort Hotel overlooking pristine Otsego Lake.

All that was missing was Norman Rockwell.

Seaver, 70, is doing better in his battle with Lyme disease. He is in his vineyard every day for six or seven hours, although he now refers to his wife Nancy Lynn and daughter Anne as the real bosses at Seaver Vineyards on Diamond Mountain in Calistoga, Calif.
