Time for Mets to beat up the Braves

While all the hype has surrounded Kevin Plawecki's big-league debut Tuesday at Citi Field, Hansel Robles has gotten swept under the rug.

Still, he will be a key player in the bullpen as the Mets try to do without the great Jerry Blevins for the next 8 weeks or so.

Who knows what to expect from Robles, who has been up and down in the minors, but he got up at the right time, pitching well to start the season for Wally (Mr. Marlins) Backman.

You figure Collins isn't going to throw Robles into a key spot right away, but admit it, every time you see Buddy Carlyle in a a game, you expect a shelling and are surprised when he survives, so we may need him more than we think we will sooner than later.
