The 6-foot-6 right-hander with the 100-mph fastball goes by the nickname "Thor." On Wednesday, he really was Thor, dressing up as the Marvel Comics character and walking the streets of Manhattan for a segment on the Mets' SNY television network.
Syndergaard had his picture taken in Times Square with families and some of the other characters that roam that area.
