The Curse of the Billy Goat has been told and re-told for decades — they’re even kind of sick of talking about it at the Billy Goat Tavern — but how the hell did Billy Sianis wind up with a goat?
“There used to be a lot of stockyards in Chicago back in the day,” Bill Sianis, whose great uncle is credited with the curse, told the Daily News.
“A truck came by and the goat fell off of it. It was hurt. My great uncle brought it back to health and kept it around.
“It reminded him of being back in Greece.
