Mets infielders Ruben Tejada and Wilmer Flores are no longer wearing their walking boots after sustaining leg injuries, according to ESPN's Adam Rubin.
Tejada suffered a broken fibula in Game 2 of the NLDS when Dodgers infielder Chase Utley slid late and hard into second base to try and break up a double play.
Tejada, 26, missed the rest of the playoffs after the injury, which prompted a suspension for Utley and MLB to discuss the neighborhood play at second base. Last season, Tejada hit .261 with three home runs and 28 RBIs.
