Mets RHP Noah Syndergaard will resume his rehab assignment on Thursday with Short-Season-A Brooklyn, the team announced.
Syndergaard, who hasn't pitched in the majors since April 30 due to a partially torn lat, threw one inning for the Gulf Coast League Mets on Saturday in his first rehab appearance.
"Overall, I thought it was a really good day of work," said Syndergaard, who allowed two unearned runs and two hits with two strikeouts. "I got 18 quality pitches. My delivery felt really sound. It was a huge step in the right direction for me.
