Mets RHP Noah Syndergaard tossed six scoreless innings against the Braves during Opening Day at Citi Field on Monday before leaving due to a blister on the tip of his middle finger.
After the top of the sixth inning, Syndergaard was looked at by trainer Ray Ramirez and manager Terry Collins, who appeared to be checking the blister.
Syndergaard did not return for the seventh inning, instead being replaced by Hansel Robles.
Overall, Syndergaard allowed five hits, walked none, and struck out seven.
His fastball reached as high as 100 MPH, while his slider topped out at 94.
