Steven Matz’s latest Philly dud has Mets’ season in danger zone

PHILADELPHIA — The next time Steven Matz is scheduled to pitch at Citizens Bank Park, he should just call in sick.

About the only thing that can be taken to the bank is that this bandbox is a horror house for the Mets left-hander, who suddenly is careening off the tracks.

Monday night he got jumped in the first inning and never recovered in the Mets’ second straight loss, 13-7 to the Phillies.
