Rosario to join Smith, Herrera at Futures Game

Smith, 21, will play for the former. The Mets' first-round Draft pick in 2013 and top prospect, according to MLBPipeline.com, Smith is hitting .280 with 10 home runs in 82 games for Double-A Binghamton. It is the best homer rate since turning pro for Smith, whom the Mets have long hoped would begin using his 6-foot, 230-pound frame to generate significant power.

Mets fans are already plenty familiar with Herrera, 22, who has amassed 169 big league plate appearances since making his MLB debut in 2014.
