Mets shortstop Amed Rosario suffered a bruised finger in Sunday's 8-6 loss to the Houston Astros and could be day-to-day, according to MLB.com's Anthony DiComo.
Rosario, who went 0-for-3 and was hit by a Tyler Clippard pitch in Sunday's game, was taken out of Sunday's game for the bottom of the eighth inning and would have been due to bat in the top of the ninth.
According to DiComo, Rosario was not able to swing a bat.
Rosario was hit by a pitch in the fifth inning but stayed in the game at that point.
