'Rookie of the Year' actor attending Game 4 to support Cubs

The Cubs are going to the bullpen — it's Henry Rowengartner time.

Actor Thomas Ian Nicholas — who played the wunderkind flamethrower in 1993's "Rookie of the Year" — announced on Twitter Wednesday that he would be attending that night’s NLCS Game 4 at Wrigley Field in an attempt to bring good luck to the Cubs as they try to stave off elimination against the Mets.

Going to the @Cubs game tonight. I'll be wearing a #Rowengartner jersey. Playing @hvacpub after the game #LetsGetSomeRuns!

"There are a lot of superstitions in baseball, so I'm just hoping that throwing on the Rowengartner jersey is the lucky rabbit's foot that we need in this series," Nicholas told ESPN.
