I don’t feel right now as if I’m living in reality, but sure enough, though it feels surreal to type, the Mets are playing in the 111th Fall Classic this very evening, and I can’t be any more pumped, prouder and happier in this moment. Whatever comes next is up to the fates, but to echo what Terry Collins has been saying, take nothing for granted and soak it all up. That’s what the New York Metropolitans will be doing, and that is what this fanbase will be doing as well.
