Yesterday, it was reported that billionaire Mike Repole would be joining Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez in their bid to buy, and now, another candidate popped up.
According to Scott Soshnick of Variety, the billionaire Reuben Brothers are also considering a bid for the New York Mets. All of this comes after Steve Cohen, a famous and successful hedge funder, was very close to completing the purchase of the club from the Wilpons, but everything fell through at the last minute.
