First pick (38th overall): Mitch Voit, RHP, University of Michigan
The Mets finally made their first selection in the draft late in the Competitive Balance Round A, selecting two-way player Mitch Voit out of Michigan. While drafted as both a pitcher and an infielder, his upside is reportedly higher as a hitter.
