In 2006, the last time the Mets made the playoffs (duh), someone thought it would be a swell idea to move Gary Cohen, SportsNet New York’s TV voice of the Mets, into the radio booth to do two innings (5th and 6th) of each playoff game. The Mets were then heard on WFAN with Howie Rose and Tom McCarthy behind the microphones.
