Since many of us don’t remember what it’s like to be in a pennant race, we have probably forgotten the wacky things these races make you do.
For example: Thursday night, as me and my kids watched another episode of Batman (we are going through the whole Adam West box set this summer), I had the Nats-Rockies game on my iPhone, and was rooting hard for John Axford to close out the Nats, realizing that 24 hours later (ie. Friday night), I may be rooting for him to fail miserably.
Same goes for all the Rockies players.
