It’s official. The New York Mets are having a bad week. Pete Alonso is not coming back to Queens as anything more than a visitor. His meeting with the Baltimore Orioles must’ve gone well as he has agreed to a five-year deal worth $155 million to head down I-95 to join Ryan Helsley and the boys.

A little over 24 hours after Edwin Diaz sprinted for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Alonso is doing the same a little closer to home but at least in the other league.
