The 1962 New York Mets featured many players with colorful names. There was Choo-Choo Coleman, “Marvelous” Marv Throneberry, Joe Pignatano, and Hobie Landrith, just to name a few. With their 40-120 record, the team practically had more colorful characters than wins.
