Noah Syndergaard’s biceps injury is potential Mets disaster

The Mets’ stretch from hell potentially just got a lot worse.

Terry Collins announced Thursday morning that Noah Syndergaard was scratched from his afternoon start against the Braves because of a tired arm that caused tendinitis in his biceps.

After Tuesday’s rainout, the Mets said Syndergaard would start Wednesday, but when Robert Gsellman instead got the ball, they explained it away as a PR snafu.

Matt Harvey will start Thursday in Syndergaard’s place.
