Mets OF Brandon Nimmo, who hit .260/.379/.418 with five HR, 11 doubles, and 21 RBI in 69 games last season, lists his power and pitch-selection as things he wants to work on heading into the 2018 season.
"I think things I can work on are power, average, and then obviously I think I can get better at swinging at more good pitches consistently," Nimmo told SNY's Steve Gelbs. "I felt like curveballs are something I can hop on a bit more."
Nimmo, who saw regular playing time from August through the end of the season, also talked about improving his first-step quickness in the outfield and when it comes to stealing bases.
