According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, the New York Mets have come to an agreement with Trevor Bauer.

Trevor Bauer is a controversial figure, to say the least, but he’s the reigning National League Cy Young award winner. This makes Bauer the first Cy Young award winner to sign with a new team in free agency since Greg Maddux left the Cubs for the Braves. The Mets can only hope Bauer finds that kind of success in Queens.
