The last couple of days have been very stressful for the New York Mets. Even the fans of the team are currently awaiting the resolution they are going to take regarding Carlos Beltran.
Beltran, appointed as the team’s skipper over the winter, participated in the Houston Astros’ 2017 sign-stealing scandal. He was a player back then, and MLB decided against punishing the on-field authors. The Astros fired the manager AJ Hinch and the GM Jeff Lunhow, and the Boston Red Sox did the same with Alex Cora (he was with Houston as a bench coach in 2017.
