New York Mets’ Robinson Cano wants to stay at 2B

The New York Mets have a conundrum in the infield. They are trying to figure out where everything fits and Robinson Cano is one of the puzzle pieces.

Although it’s expected that Cano will see some time at first base, the former All-Star still wants to stay at second base.

“I want to stay there until my contract is over,” Cano said to Dan Martin of the New York Post. “That’s my goal.

“If I can play second, that’s where I want to be,” Cano said. “Trust me, if I lost my range, I’d be the first person to say, ‘I think it’s time for me to move’ or go to DH if that happens [in the National League].
