New York Mets news: Omar Minaya says ‘anything’ Yoenis Cespedes does is ‘gravy’

The New York Mets opened up their coffers when they signed Yoenis Cespedes to a four-year contract worth $110 million in 2017. Since that deal was inked, Cespedes has only played in 119 games out of a possible 324.

Cespedes underwent surgery on both heels last summer and there is still no timetable set for the slugger’s return. Special assistant to the general manager (and former Mets GM) Omar Minaya spoke with MLB Network Radio about Cespedes’ recovery.
