As the July 31 trade deadline approaches, the New York Mets have a few players they could deal. One of these individuals is Noah Syndergaard.
Although it seems unlikely they’d ship Syndergaard to another organization at this time, the trade possibility involving the starting pitcher isn’t completely out the window.
Jeff Passan of ESPN predicts Syndergaard won’t be traded before the conclusion of this month. According to Passan, an unnamed general manager told him it would take “a few arms and a leg” for the Mets to give up the former All-Star.
