The New York Mets had a big win last night collecting the 2-0 win over the Cincinatti eds. Rafael Montero threw a great game, giving up no runs through 8.1 innings and only allowing three hits and four walks to go along with eight strikeouts. Montero got the win and AJ Ramos picked up the save.
Kevin Plawecki and Wilmer Flores each had RBIs in the first inning, and the game was held scoreless after that.
The Mets will be playing in Houston this weekend after all.
