PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Games have almost arrived for the New York Mets.
The team will have an intrasquad game on Tuesday, with Sean Gilmartin, Logan Verrett, Zack Thornton, Chasen Bradford and Akeel Morris pitching for one team and Robert Gsellman, Duane Below, Seth Lugo and Josh Smoker pitching for the other side.
The Mets open Grapefruit League play on Thursday afternoon against the Washington Nationals in Viera. Rafael Montero is due to start. He will be followed by Gabriel Ynoa and Jeff Walters.
